Prices

The price comes first

Nothing gets taken apart before you know what it costs. That is the whole rule, and it has not changed since the first version of this business.

Why a real quote beats a price list

Two cars with the same problem rarely cost the same to fix. A brake job on a small sedan and a brake job on a loaded truck are different parts, different hours and different money.

So the useful thing is not a list. It is a text with your year, make and model and what the car is doing, and a real number back for that car. That takes a few minutes and it is free.

The warranty

Joe puts a 12 month warranty on the work he does. Brake pad replacement carries 18 months. That has been the promise since the first version of this business and it has not moved.

Questions people ask

Why are there not more numbers on this page
Because a number on a web page that turns out to be wrong in your driveway is worse than no number. Text the year, make and model with what it is doing and you get a real price for your car.
Is the price I am told the price I pay
Yes. If something turns up mid job that changes it, you hear about it and agree to it before any more work happens.
Do you charge extra at night
Ask when you call. Joe is open 24 hours and he tells you the price up front whatever the hour, so there is no surprise at the end.
What does the warranty actually cover
The work Joe did and the parts he supplied, for 12 months. Brake pad replacement carries 18 months.
