These are from Joe's Google profile and are a few years old. Newer ones are on the profile itself. The thing they tend to mention is the same thing, which is that the price quoted on the phone was the price paid in the driveway.
The job slip
Great experience with Joe replacing brakes and rotors. He was able to give me a quote over the phone and stuck to it. Showed up on time and was able to fit himself into my schedule.

Joe was a very honest man. He did his best to get you the best price and was honest with his price. He will be my go to mechanic from now on.

Joe is an outstanding mechanic and finds solutions to any problem. I have been working with him for years and find him very reliable.

Why quoting on the phone matters
Nearly every complaint anybody has about a mechanic comes down to one thing. The number at the end did not match the number at the start.
Joe quotes before the work and holds it. If something turns up half way through that changes the job, the work stops and you hear about it. You decide whether it carries on. That is the only way a price stays a price.
And why the warranty matters
Joe puts a 12 month warranty on the work he does. Brake pad replacement carries 18 months. That has been the promise since the first version of this business and it has not moved. A warranty from one person who lives twenty minutes away is worth more than a longer one from a chain, because the same man comes back out to it.

Tell Joe what the car is doing
Send a text with the problem, where the car is parked and a photo if you have one. You get the price before anybody opens anything up.
