Why cars break the way they do here
A car in Frederick does not wear out the way the same car wears out somewhere flat and warm. Four things here do most of the damage.
Mag chloride
Colorado sprays magnesium chloride brine on I 25 and the county roads instead of rock salt. It clings to the underside of a car long after the road is dry, and it eats brake lines, fuel lines and wiring connectors from the outside in.
Five thousand feet
Frederick sits near 5,000 feet. Thin air means the cooling system, the radiator fan and any turbo work harder than the same parts do at sea level. Marginal cooling fails here first.
Sixty degree days

The work is warrantied. If it goes wrong, the same person comes back out to it.
